RE:well, maybe there is a way.......

I think you hit the nail on the head here Whognu.  No one would pump their own busienss days before a quarter unless they were concerned about market reactions.  He's trying to get ahead of it, in my opinion.  If you have a glowing quarter, your numbers do the talking, and then you can raise guidance as well if you really want to juice the market.  This does not smack of a positive to me, and anyone saying otherwise is more hopeful than logical.  GLTA

quote=whognu1]I fully agree that the timing of this webcast is very odd given, that my take on the ceo is that he appears to be a level headed, under promise over deliver type of guy

double T has one optomistic outlook

here's mine

maybe the numbers are ok, yet not that great, and he wants the 'marketplace' to see in advance and have a couple days to understand all the initiatives he has undertaken and how he believes they will pan out over time

this way he will allow everyone to read (over and over again) his progress to date, without being freakedout by current numbers which may be modest

kind of 'softening the blow' if you will

to my way of thinking, if you have fabulous numbers, you would not put out a webcast with the potential of pumping it even further

but that's me, and i will likely take an initial position as early as tomorrow depending on the price action

good luck
