Between a rock and a hard place

Between a rock and a hard placeIt is with a bit of sadness that I tendered my ipl shares for the Brookfield offer last week as I saw very little possibility for any different outcome. Like a few of the diehards on this bullboard I held hope earlier that we could fend off the bidders and hold our shares for a strong future, but now, faced with a strong following as well as their own ownership of ipl shares, I don't see Brookfield giving up now that victory is so close for them. Though I don't see PPL as a full replacement for IPL, I have invested a portion into them. In the meantime, for all you fellow IPL holders, start making plans of how to invest your $20 per share; there are other options out there. All the best to you!!
