Let's look at the tale of the tape

Let's look at the tale of the tapeCompany sales increased in the last quarter -- to an impressive $600,000. Well, it would be impressive if you were running a dry-cleaning stand in a subway station. If you're telling people you're a multinational drugmaker with FDA approved products, you're going to get laughed at if you quote that kind of revenue level.

However, that sales bump came at a cost to the bottom line. The net loss for the quarter grew to $7 million from $5.6 million during the corresponding period in 2020. Meaning they spent an additional $1.4 million in order to increase revenue by $400k. Managing to burn nearly four  bucks for every new dollar coming in is the Acerus Way. Remember that over the life of this company, each Acerus employee has contributed an individual loss of $2.93 million toward the cumulative value-destruction.

But what about our leader, Big Ed? Don't look now, but he's changed his LinkedIn profile listing as of today. He's not tagging himself as the Acerus CEO any more. Now he just wants to be known as a humble board member at Micellae. As Peter Mansbridge might say, "What are we to make of this?"

(Private message to Tom: Sorry, but I didn't see anything in the press release about Tefina. But for less than a hundred bucks, I'll bet there's a quality tattoo shop in Elmira where you could have it inked on your asscheek.)
