Was anyone else expecting the whole margins likely to decrease in the future thing? And on that note, I don't suppose anyone has insight as to why lower margins with self serve? I was hoping the opposite would be the case after the onboarding process. Trying to figure out the most likely numbers to plug into my valuation projections based on that hypothetical.
I have mixed feelings on this ER, but I'm long and the current valuation isn't causing me concern (IE: it isn't really overvalued with lots of draw down risk) so I'm content to be patient.
Hi Prosilence. In Q4 of this year Jonathan Pollack told investors that Illumin would have lower gross margins but much higher net margins. They won't need to spend as much on sales and marketing once they are on the platform. Also, general and administrative expenses are mainly fixed and their expenses will be under control with Illumin. Only 5-10% of their expenses would be variable according to Tal Hayek.
I hope that helps.
