RE:batteries and management systemThey probably need approval to do just that. Their software does its work via batteries, so it wouldn't have much to show without a battery to do its magic with. Furthermore, any battery being demonstrated with would probably need to be installed in order to used as a demonstration, and thus need approval. Finally, the approval process probably necessitates the bms software being installed onto the battery, since it would be taken as a whole unit, and needs to be verified by csa as functioning as intended. No bms, no whole unit. Hence why it makes little sense to show anything before approval. Not to mention that it would be a momentum killer to show the unit in bits n pieces. The proof of concept is the battery as a whole, and csa wouldn't just let them install it anywhere, even as a demo, without approval. Just my 2 cents.
