I'm getting the inkling

I'm getting the inklingthat most of the players with eyes on the US market are waiting for Interstate XFR laws to be set up because of the costs to set up vertical businesses in every State they want to do business in.

There's plus es and minuses for centralization and cross border shipping but this would also cause the MSOs that have spent the money to build tail to snout businesses in all of the States they operate in.

Jmho, but value added is where it is going to be at for good numbers to drive stock prices.  Grows will have to offer unique strains to command above marketprice for easily produced product and hot countries close to the equator will probably regain their marketshare because they will be able to provide satisfactory produce and extracted oils at bargain basement prices.

Bhang has lost some skus and do seem to be waiting for some event to kick this into gear again but in the meantime they have acted more like a private company as far as investors are concerned.

The competition may be working on their own competitive products and be more motivated and financed, so there's that!
