We do know about pea protein that it can be mass produced, as it is being done by many companies. And I would assume that Burcon/Merit have done enough tests with small scale canola extraction/production to be able to make a correct assessment about the feasability of mass production.

My concern is more about market demand for canola protein. For pea protein, there are many products on the market so there should be enough demand from food manufacturers. But it's canola which is supposed to be Merit's USP. And there, the market is still untested.

We'll soon find out though.
