Steve Reko was a very good man who greatly appreciated his employees and the mostly employee shareholders. His wife is a sweetheart. If Steve were still alive today, i don't think he would be particularly happy. The company has a so so business plan but a strong balance sheet. He would not like the strategy of buying/cancelling shares slowly when they periodically come available when an employee wants to buy a boat. He would want the family to take it private so that the existing shareholders can reap the benefit of 30 years of suffering. Remember its IPO price was $6.50 and its nbv is nearly $8.00.
