RE:RE:RE:to make $.01 profit they have to make $150,000,000Did I say it was a mid cap oil stock?????????...and we all know they currently don't have the money to buy any shares back.....The story was to reflect that in the last year or two oil companies are starting to buy back shares...after all if no one else is buying your shares then your best plan of attack is to buy your own shares back. It does a multiude of things , reduces share count, increases earnings per share, permit management to gorge themselves on cheap shares at current pricing, it also aids mangement down the road when they want to resell those shares to mangement through various bonus/option packages as they just come out of treasury shares (providing they haven't changed the charter).
