RE:RE:Trailing P/E of 5 for Calibre Mining staz,
Agreed.
There have been comments by mg't over the past two or three quartely conference calls about the impact of mining sequencing in the first half of 2021.
Development to access Panteon will start showing results in Q3, and ramp up of Pavon (along with usual production from Limon and La Libertad) should contribute to higher bottom line numbers in Q3 and Q4. Mg't has mentioned that higher grades are expected in H2. Remains to be seen as the year unfolds of course, but this management team have provided accurate information and time lines to shareholders on a consistent basis. No reason to doubt their guidance at this time.
Costs money to build up resources for long term future viability of the company. La Libertad mill was supposed to be mothballed already, yet there is now almost 5 years of material available, and Eastern Borosi is a year ahead of original projections to add a new spoke to production.
There is no concern about having to fund CAPEX to build processing plants to exploit the successes of exploration with two mills and 2.7 million tonne annual capacity. Calibre has been able to self-fund a 60,000 meter drill program in 2020 and 80,000 meters in 2021, significantly increasing reserves and show solid profits. Quite likely we'll see continued exploration of similar size in the next couple of years as well. IMHO .... This is better than any pure exploration play.
Just need gold prices to continue to cooperate ....
