I mean the risk of not realizing synergies or the company not being a good fit etc. Acquisitions are made to create value further than the current company can do. Sure they can acquire a company with the financial metrics noted but it will take 10 years to recoup the initial investment unless they can find synergies etc. Can be as simple as now quarterhill can bid on projects that now include weigh in motion and tolls in one contracts.
