RE:Big NO! to Selling Out NFG to BIG GOLD!
They are not "hints" . Palisades is an "investment bank" in resource sector. Their stated mission is to develop and sell the proeprty at the appropriate moment. They are not miners and have no intention to be one. Take some time to reivew everything on thier website and you might understand that is what they will do. Eric Sprott clearly also states he will sell whne the right offer materializes, just as they did with Newmarket at Fosterville. Since they own over 50% of the company and together management and insiders hold over 60%, if such an offer acceptable to them comes along it is a foregone conclusion that NFG will change hands.
Neither you nor I nor any other retail investor will have much input into that decision. Your best hope would be a deal involving shares of another rminer like Kirkland (at time of Fosterville purchase) who could appreciate significantly once in production. Kirkland was not a major at the time of takover of Newmarket, so it may be difficult to find such a situation in this instance. Most likely it will go to one of the majors, because of what the eventual purchase price will be!
