Re: tracking: Of cousre they do.Although maybe not to the extent of white boards with strings connecting pictures of people and places...cuz that's just a bit creepy !
Re why SP is where it is.
Cuz it doesn't suit "them" to have it go up, until it does... when it does, that will usher in the endgame. The opening and middle game has been painful to watch. But I expect that the endgame will begin and end in a flash of brilliance.
...or not, in which case it's on to the next.

Most of my investments involve CO's that have demonstrated an ability to generate earnings & cash flow for the long term.
A few, like Spectral are attempts to find the elusive 10+ baggers.
Blind investments? Hardly. But neither are they sure things.
You must know that Biotechs looking to make a discovery followed by an FDA approval are subject to uncertainty and setbacks and yes often failure (to prove a thesis) ?
Apparently they are also subject to pandemics and suspect mgt, a lack of transparency and greed as well.
But even those obstacles can be overcome if there is a great enough need for the products being developed. Add in a couple of kicks at the can, strong insider commitment, and the risk reward ratio can start to make sense.
