Nevada Copper Corp is a Canada-based mining company. The Company is engaged in the development, operation, and exploration of its copper project (the Project) at its Pumpkin Hollow Property (the Property) in Western Nevada, United States of America. Its two fully permitted projects include the high-grade Underground Mine and processing facility, which is undergoing a restart of operations, and a large-scale open pit PFS stage project. The Property is located in northwestern Nevada and consists of approximately 24,300 acres of contiguous mineral rights including approximately 10,800 acres of owned private land and leased patented claims. Pumpkin Hollow is located approximately 8 miles southeast of the small town of Yerington, Nevada in Lyon County, one- and one-half hours drive southeast of Reno. The Company’s wholly owned subsidiary is Nevada Copper, Inc.

What's really going on?

I am new to this forum. I first invested in NCU in 12/2018 and am still waiting for this thing to work out. I don't want to blow smoke as I am just as confused as the rest of you. Nevada Copper approached the Sheriff's office in Yerington 6 months ago to inform them they were about to hire 700 miners for the ramp up. I doubled my investment and can't figure out why they are dropping the ball so bad or why they even told the Sheriff this news if they weren't actually going to do it. Maybe to increase local investing by the Yerington community by creating gossip...don't know. I'm in this for the long run but I do feel uncomfortable at this point. Looking for the stomach to buy a few more shares but I don't know. Does anyone on this forum have a friend who actually works in the mine?
