What's really going on?

What's really going on?I am new to this forum. I first invested in NCU in 12/2018 and am still waiting for this thing to work out. I don't want to blow smoke as I am just as confused as the rest of you. Nevada Copper approached the Sheriff's office in Yerington 6 months ago to inform them they were about to hire 700 miners for the ramp up. I doubled my investment and can't figure out why they are dropping the ball so bad or why they even told the Sheriff this news if they weren't actually going to do it. Maybe to increase local investing by the Yerington community by creating gossip...don't know. I'm in this for the long run but I do feel uncomfortable at this point. Looking for the stomach to buy a few more shares but I don't know. Does anyone on this forum have a friend who actually works in the mine?
