A walk around Stanley Park vs. climbing EverestWe hired a world class engineer, who a short time later was also hired by the BC gov.
The BC gov doesn't seem to trust his expertise when he works for us. However, they implement his recommendations for BC mining, after he reviews the Mount Polley tailings dam failure.
It has been a long time, that said, I recall hearing that he referred to the engineering difficulty of the KSM mine, which by the way received provincial approval, was like having to climb Mount Everest, whereas in comparison, he felt like the Morrison mine was like taking a walk around Stanley Park.
I interpreted this to mean that KSM was a very difficult project, whereas Morrison was a safe, simple and easy project.
Thank you John for hiring the best! It will be interesting if it ever gets to court. How on earth can the province ever defend their position against us, when they rely on the same expert?
