@Peterj99 can you please explain to me the difference between drilling a wildcat well and what RECO is currently doing. If you do understand the difference, then I don't understand why you can't grasp the concept that RECO is managing risk. Currently they have enough capital for what, 4 holes. What do you think the chances would be of drilling even one successful well out of 4 over 6+ million acres? Now, drill 2 strat wells for info, run 2D seismic and VSP, and determine the best spot over a 450km seismic line to drill 2 wells. I would take that approach over dumb luck of 4 wells. Do you now see that this isn't a science project, but an attempt to mitigate as much risk as possible to drill a well capable of proving commercial viability of the basin. Drilling a commercially viable well takes a ton of time, technich skill, and data... I would hope any prudent investor wouldn't invest in dumb luck. Now please stop with your ignorant demand to drill a producer, it doesn't work like that!!!
