RE:RE:RE:Batteries (not) includedAssumptions are always made that this increase in EVs will happen overnight and the infrastructure will be overwhelmed. It won't happen overnight and the infrastructure will expand accordingly in order to accomidate it. The market, like nature, abhors a vacuum.
O&G will also not disappear as many ICE vehicles will still exist and EVs have plenty of petroleum based parts and is required in the manufacturing processes of almost everything.
This very much reminds me of the old cattle wars when ranchers shunned sheep herders and sheep grazing as they thought it would be an end to their lifestyle. It wasn't. I see plenty of peope eating beef and lamb.
Anyway back to VET. Does anyone have an idea of where the bottom is this time around? I like bargains and this is already a pretty good one..

How many gasoline cars catch fire. The batteries will not be thrown away, they can be repurposed. Anay I am quite glad to be insulated from the coming gasoline spike.
Yes but if the batteries last only max 8 years (in perfect settings - hope you're not in Canada where it can get to minus 40) get ready for a hefty price to replace them.. provided they are not obsolete.. what about the coming electrical price increases with no competition as the gas companies provide for refills.. oh and don't forget about the brown/black outs that will leave you without options unless of course you spend 10's of thousands of dollars on a solar system, or maybe a 100G for a windmill.. I hope you enjoy your eutopian lifestyle..??
