CEO exit
This thread got me thinking about how much manpower one needs to run a trial like this.
It seems like the individual sites and site leads would do
- patient id and recruitement
- consent
- the procedure itself (0 and 6m) which likely means that a study drug sample is delivered when needed
- follow up ordering of urine cytology and doing the cystoscopy
So, in real time, the company staff would need to
- make the study drug and ship it out as needed (Arkady Mandel and some staff would do this I guess)
- send a laser to the study site (I'm assuming they ship one and keep there)
- send a tech to make sure laser kept up to speed.
- integrate data as it comes back from each site
- make the quarterly newsletter :)
- communicate with regulatory bodies with updates from time to time
- payroll management etc
- labwork on the next research such as GBM treatment.
I guess if we believe in the study drug data to date and that the "optimized" treatment part is fixed, the CEO part is not as crtical in the near-term. Who knows, the CEO could have health issues, family issues, etc. Lots of reasons that may not reflect anything about the company.
