I read about the microglia stuff. And inflammasomes, and a whole lot more about inflammatory processes. IL-6, TNF, COX, etc.

In the end, IL-1Ra comes out at the bullet. It reminds me of the scene in the Indiana Jones movies where Indiana is confronted by the guy with the big sword and performs all these beautiful and threatening sword-waving moves. Indiana Jones calmly takes out his gun and shoots the guy.

xB3-004 could be the gun. Its effectiveness may be its ability to shut down earlier inflammatory processes and preventing later ones from starting.
