The world needs more lithium! The demand for lithium compounds from the rechargeable battery industry has displayed strong growth over the last decade, with the increasing use of larger Li-ion batteries in automotive applications. Yet we use these rechargeable batteries in almost all of our portable technology. Governments around the world continue to push green agendas, and a move to battery powered hybrid and electric vehicles is at the center of every plan. Tesla and some others have a lot more lithium than 22 pounds. This video will cover lithium minerals, geology, mining and prospecting. -
