The lady councillor abstaining runs the hospital charity and GRB donates money to the hospital charity long before she became a council member. Optically is was a safe decision. The vote needed was a simple majority and we received 4-0, which is both a simple majority and a unanimous vote in our favor.

On Aug. 16 after the meeting the Council and Mayor then signed the following:

1) The Fully Engineered Tract Map with the surveyed 995 homes sites with roads and common area.

2) The Final Master Development Plan, and

3) The Final Environmental Impact Report under CEQA

On Sept 7, the council performs an administrative function and signs the re-zoning because the item #2 above includes a 204 unit apartment building for GRB which is the first of its kind density ever in the region and that zone change type was approved as part of item #2 above and approved on Aug. 16.

City Staff cannot sign a rezone map and the council is the only authority required by code to do so. It is a propoer and normal administrative function derived from the Final Approval of Aug. 16.

On a side note, on June 2nd a BC Supreme Court Judge granted an order to GRB forcing Stockhouse to issue the identity of SweetBabyJesus (aka BlindMouser). 

The court order was issued to Stockhouse which Stockhouse revealed his email address to GRB 

which was   J - - - - y c - - - - -@hotmail.com

A new court order is now being issued to Shaw and Hotmail which will give GRB and the Court the owner, name and address of SweetBabyJesus in which GRB files a defamation suit against him for his 300+ defamatory Stockhouse posts, that the court already reviewed which is the reason they granted the court orders in the first place. The only delay has been the court order backlog because of Covid.  Not BlindMouser put his family at risk because he is using their email address for his new defamatory posts.

Anyone losing money on GRB because of his defamatory posts which had no other intention but to injure GRB shareholders and defame management is welcome to join.  

The approved court order going to Shaw and Hotmail will be made public.
