RE:Hydrogen Yes, they are. And Toyota's first Hydrogen fuel cell car was created here in Kyushu at Kyushu Daigaku in a joint venture between Kyushu Daigaku and Toyota. Hydrogen fuel cell cars even use more copper than regular EVs. All the copper being brought into Yahata port is from Escondida (BHP, Rio Tinto, Sumitomo, and several other Japanese companies). Nippon Steel/Sumitomo (basically the same company) ships everything by rail to Kanda (also in Kitakyushu city). Nippon Steel, Sumitomo, Mitsubishi, Mitsui, Toyota and a few other companies basically own Kitakyushu city). They all work together. They are tight. And Rio Tinto is very integral to their network.
