It is that sentiment (profits first, humanity second at best) that has always made me wonder how many hurdles will be put in our path. If my overly simplistic view is correct that if/when this works on bladder cancer, it is only a matter of tweaking the pdt delivery and light delivery to other cancers, then I suspect there will be no punches pulled by Big pharma in protecting there existing billions in annual revenue from existing treatments. Even delaying a cure for a few months/years is worth huge dollars.
