Perhaps you can send them some questions and see what you hear back. I don't think the questions are unfair or unreasonable and unless they are not confident, as a start up, I expect they would want to brag about.
The other comment I would make here is that it is fine to be patient and have expectations of "down the road" but this is a start up. The window for start ups is not always very long so how you get to market and how quickly you generate revenue is a very important aspect for understanding the possibility of future growth and the health and longevity of the company.
I suspect we should have a very good idea on the future of this one by end of year latest. It would be nice though that a company that hypes itselff so much actually put out more detailed info.
