Gunnison Copper Corp., formerly Excelsior Mining Corp., is a Canada-based mineral exploration and development company. The Company’s projects include Gunnison Copper Project, the Johnson Camp Mine, and a portfolio of exploration projects, including the Peabody Sill and the Strong and Harris deposits, in Cochise County, Arizona. The Gunnison Copper Project covers approximately 9,560 acres of land, and it is located in Arizona, United States. The Johnson Camp Mine operation includes two open pits, a fully functioning SX-EW plant capable of producing approximately 25 million pounds of cathode copper per year. The Strong and Harris copper-zinc-silver deposit is located around 1.3 miles (2.4 kilometers) north of Excelsior’s Johnson Camp SX-EW facility.

RE:Comprehensive Update…An update post labor day would be timely...  The CEO presents very well so a webinar talking through progess on the wellfield would be much appreciated.  For me catalysts for the share price are i) Acid breakthrough i.e. ability to operate well pairs on raffinate only without impaired flow rates ii) Progress opening up new wellfield pairs with the water/acid cycling to clear our the calcite iii) Progress on key wellfield metrics such as PLS flow rates, PLS grades net acid injection, number of wellfield pairs operating on rafinate only, number of wellfield pairs operating on water/acid cycling  etc iv) Estimate of breakeven production.   Given the current copper price and the last quarterly financial report my guess is this would be around 250-350,000lbs month, or around 15% of nameplate production v) Bottlenecks such as water for flushing or evaporation to maintain wellfield balance.
