IF you believe the NPV was properly calculated (which I believe it was not, as it was too low), then there is no way that RIO or any other sutior will pay 90% or more of said NPV IF an offer were to be made TODAY.
Even using a standard (half for you and half for me) 50% of NPV would give us about $9 a share, which is 50% higher than your$6 figure. Your $6 figure is about 33% of an already ridiculously low and unreasonable NPV. Please re-read that last sentence as many times as necessary and let it sink in.
Here is what you should be expecting: 50% of a realistic (i.e. well over $2k gold and $5 copper) NPV that is over $5 billion. There my friend, is your $20 a share. Oh, and if prices get really crazy in the future, that $20 a share could actually look like a bargain. The longer we hold out, the better it is for all of us.
