Problem is that those asymptomatic carriers will not know they are carrying while those elderly people will believe they are protected. A recipe for potential disaster. Finally, harbouring virus even asymptomatically could very well lead to viral escape where variants form within the asymptomatic host. This is why treatment alternatives are important. Current vaccines are proving they are not the answer.
