Even saying '67% of the first 3 were cured' may mislead one to underestimate the efficacy of the treatment as the patient who was not cured had pre-existing and non-Study related metastatic cancer and could not have been cured in the trial.
The undertreatment of the first 12 patients of the phase 2 trial has seriously distorted the efficacy data. Despite this, efficacy data to-date is impressive and is being progressively rectified as more and more patients are treated.

Either way its so unbelievably that 1433 is works so well that 1 treatment can have such impact on patients that struggled with their cancer so much that they were at the end of any hope except to enter a Trial of a PDT drug that had no track record of success until they took the risk. Now they reap the rewards of their bravery and TLD 1433 success.
