Here's a fun one

Here's a fun oneMy dad had a friend from Fredricton where my dad was born. 50 years after they were in school this man called my dad in Montreal and told his old high school friend he had been diagnosed with terminal lung cancer. He'd been given 2 years to live. My dad invited him to Montreal to have a look and operated on him. For 14 years after that, a wooden crate with fresh oysters from New Brunswick arrived on our doorstep 4 or 5 times a year. Courtesy of Air Canada. The only times I ever spent when my father talked to me were 4 or 5 times a year shucking oysters. That's a fact He was tha worst father imaginable.
