Oldfart74, you are wrong again.
Here is a statement in Brookfield's "third notice of variation" dated July 13 2021:
Shareholders should be aware that during the perod of the Offer, the Offeror, or any of its
affiliates may, directly, or indirectly bid for and make purchases of Common Shares, as permitted by applicable law."

It definately does not say that they MAY NOT PURCHASE IPL SHARES.
