It makes sense they could partner on larger projects, I suppose, but their secret sauce seems to be build-own-operate to create value along the entire chain. Seems counterproductive to buy existing projects at a premium with cash they don't have.
By the way, I was looking on their website tonight and I can't find anything about Stephen Markscheid joining UGE's board. Where do you see that?
alleyesonme wrote: Agreed, The flip side and probably more likely is growth acceleration through asset acquisition...they are turn key distributed solar providers because of their previous moves to acquire Carmanah, and also Endura which gave them vast engineering and design capabilities run out of Toronto...I could see UGE partnering on larger projects or acquiring operational assets.
