RE:RE:RE:Sizeable Gulf Oil Spill Following Hurricane IdaI am sure ENB controls and monitors the flow/pressure/volume on both sides of the straits. If there is a loss of pressure/volume, controls and processes are into place so that the pipeline shuts off automatically. I suspect that given the clouds around L5 in the straits, they will add as many extra measures, sensors and shut off valves as needed to put MI at ease. Plus the pipeline length under the straights is 4.5 miles only. To be honest, considering the value of the project I am sure ENB won't have any issues to pay for 24/7 water surveillance ongoing moving forward for the entire lifespan of the project.
Lake Huron is my fav out of the Great Lakes. I don't think for a second that ENB will cut any corners with this project.
