It is focused on advancing the district-scale Douay and Joutel gold projects located in Quebec's prolific Abitibi Greenstone Gold Belt. In addition, the Company holds an option to acquire 100% of the Eagle Mine Property, a key part of the historical Joutel mining complex. The Douay Gold Project is located over 55 kilometers (km) southwest of Matagami and 130 km north of Amos, Quebec, by road. The Joutel Gold Project is 100% owned by the 50/50 Joint Venture (JV) between Maple Gold and Agnico Eagle Mines Limited (Agnico). Joutel Gold Project is located approximately 70 km southwest of Matagami and 125 km north of Amos, Quebec, by road. The Eagle Mine Property is a 77-hectare property located several kilometers west of the former mining town of Joutel in mining-friendly Quebec, Canada. Its Morris property is located approximately 30 km east-northeast of the town of Matagami, or over 110 km north-east from the Douay camp.

Not sure why you would  mention MGM and DGC in the same breath. No comparison whatsoever.  

Detour was a 600,000 oz producer                     MGM    0 oz producer
Detour had 16M ounces at time of acqusition     MGM    2.7M low grade 

On September 1 Agnico invested in Candelaria Mining  to go along with their other junior mining investments made over the last 4 years.  Not only Maple Gold but the following:

Royal Road Minerals
Gold Quest Mining
Cartier Resources
Rupert Resources
G4G Capital 
Belo Sun
Orla  

MGM simply one of many.    

The drill results this month will be an important factor for Maple.  If successful like prior Nika drill hole then share price will do well.  If like 531 Zone share price will decline.   Good news travels by pony express and bad news by stage coach.  It's been a long wait for the drill results. Over 3 months.  Not normally a good sign. We will see.
