Acquisition

08:03 AM EDT, 09/07/2021 (MT Newswires) -- Payments firm Nuvei (NVEI.TO) announced Tuesday the acquisition of Paymentez LLC, a payment solution provider in Latin America.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Paymentez is present in 11 countries and provides card acquiring and prepaid card options, among other services. Its CEO and cofounder, Juan Franco, will join Nuvei as general manager for Latin America.
