These stats unfortunately demonstrate that the world has a long way to go before covid is endemic and not a pandemic. Until then testing devices like AcuVid will be absolutely necessary. It is accurate, inexpensive and the sample easy to obtain. Those characteristics should lead to FDA EUA authorization at any time. At this vaccination rate it will take at least a year ...or more ....before the "planet" is satisfactorily vaccinated. That does not include the possibility of a third, booster shot or more variants which could slow the vaccination rate down. Let's go FDA!!! The world is waiting.
