RE:In my view...Really interesting and insightful post.  Thanks!  Can you explain what you mean by "hands on algos"?  I googled it and couldn't figure it out.

I've owned Probe since 2008 and went through the goldcorp buyout. My recollection was that the powers that be would sell 100 share lots over and over to suppress the price of the stock in order to ensure that they could pay the least amount possible- i.e. 35% above the price, which was already well less than it should be.  Is this what you are referring to or is there something else going on here?

All the fun and games aside, I hope this doesn't go for less than 3.50/share and some shares in the new company.  Been waiting a very long time for this one and could have more than doubled our money just betting on the S&P during that time frame...
