it's just a filing mechanism so the prospectus is OK'd by all provincial governing bodies (each province has a different securities commission) - nothing to see here.

a $500MM offering is a big number and this indicates something huge could be coming. WELL has a lot of capital already, and backing from Li Ka Shing, so this could represent a real game changer of an acquisition.
