Marathon Gold Corporation is a Canada-based gold exploration and development company. The Company’s primary business focus is the exploration and development of its flagship asset, the wholly owned Valentine Gold Project, located in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada. Its prospects are located along the Valentine Lake Shear Zone and include Frank Zone, Rainbow Zone, Triangle Zone, Victoria Bridge, Narrows, Victory Southwest, Victory Northeast, and the Berry Zone. Most Recent PresentationIf you haven't already watched the Marathon Gold presentation from the Precious Metals Summit it is probably worth having a look at.  The slideshow from the presentation is also up on the Marathon Gold website.  

I was especially interested in the bit of an update on the Victory deposit drilling (13 minute mark; slide 16).  As I had kind of expected they are working with the idea that the current Victory and Sprite resources are based on hanging wall material and they are looking for the associated "Main Zone" mineralization closer the contact.  Even though they don't have results yet, if you zoom in on the drill traces in the slide show you can see they have intersected quite a bit of the right material including some visible gold.
