I said in June they should have reopened Johnson Camp I said back in June that they should have simply reopened Johnson Camp. Now they have finally figured it out. About time!

Now you are finally getting the irony. If Excelsior had simply reopened Johnson Camp, they would be nicely profitable with the current price of [copper], and this stock would be flying. Instead they decided to try this wonderful new in-situ mining technique on a different part of the deposit. Of course, they did not do in-situ mining exactly on top of the old mine. The mine was already dug. They needed a nice, flat area where they could drill pipes into the ground.
It seems the main purpose here was to sell investors on this great new mining technique. So far, it has been an absolute failure. Maybe they can make it work. They are learning as they go. It has been an expensive education.
