re/Vaccination
re/VaccinationHad another epiphany on the vacc issue today. There was another one of those
repetitive type interviews on CNN. Murthy, the surgeon general then said
something very prescient which caught my attention. He backed up his agument
about the need to vaccinate the population by saying not how many people are
getting sick and have died, but how many millions of people have been saved.
It was a different way of presenting the argument. eg, for those who refuse to get
vaccinated, try answering this question. If everyone decided like your
self, not to get vaccinated, how may people would be dead and would you be
prepared to acccept those numbers if you happened to be lucky enough to
have survived? I would suggest that it would be equivalent to what happened in Europe during the Middle Ages when 75% of the population was culled.
The thing is, unlike the Middle Ages, we know this is completely preventable
because we have vaccines.
