RE:NG Futures and weatherI'm not an expert but I think the new storm will probably not be strong enough to do any much to
the LNG producers and exports on the gulf. It will however probably close in a bit more gas and oil
production on the texas side of the gulf and if there are any power outages the natural gas processing plants inland (the ones that clean and prepare the raw gas) will probably go down for a while. To my knowledge the big LNG plants have on-site power generation and have were built recently and are pretty robust.
They sold to call many options on this thing. It will move when the holders of the options want it to.
It is a good opportunity to accumlate.
This company has not hedged their production and is pulling in a lot of money. As far as I can see
they have a few contracts to get the NyMex gas price less a buck or so. Look it up yourself - it;s in their financials. DYODD - I may be missing something.
