Whitecap Resources Inc. is an oil-weighted growth company. The Company is engaged in the business of acquiring, developing and holding interests in petroleum and natural gas properties and assets. Its core areas include the West Division and East Division. Its West Division is comprised of three regions: Smoky, Kaybob and Peace River Arch (PRA). The properties in its Smoky region include Kakwa and Resthaven, all located in Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Montney resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. Kaybob is located in the Fox Creek region of Northwest Alberta. The primary reservoir being developed is the Duvernay resource play, mainly comprised of condensate-rich natural gas. The PRA is its original asset area. Its East Division is comprised of four regions: Central AB, West Sask, East Sask and Weyburn. Its Central Alberta region represents the bulk of its Cardium and liquids-rich Mannville assets.

Agreed !  Well no one has a crystal ball , I do feel that it will be trending towards 6 dollars to 6.5 dollars and I wouldn't be shocked if it begins to test its 52 week high in the next 6 weeks with the push to the 52 week high coming the prior week or two before the 3 Q release. 

    If they raise the dividend , and....  or discuss raising it , I believe we will see some income players come in to get the dividend along with some capital appreciation.  

      At the end of the day it's the balance sheet ( decent shape )  , income statement ( making money )  , and the synergies ( acquisitions ) and I believe they have through these acquisitions some serious potential to improve there gas expsosure , this rounds things out nicely and  that make me feel optimistic.
