Most likely they will find out too late and we'll have cashed the largest part :-)

Not pessimistic, only the optimism in the (western-) world is unreal.

Bitcoin only one of many, though major cryptocurrency consumes 0.6% of world electricity adding next to nothing to economy. That is 130 Terawatts hours.

Maybe we should question such wastes before shutting down EV revolution.
