RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:News out now as a warning, 3 hours ago about this product:

It's not unknown. Delta 8 THC occurs naturally when weed gets old and oxidizes.

In Canada weed is destroyed after reaching a certain shelf under regulations. Bio-mass can be flash frozen or processed and distilled before such time to preserve and extend the integrity of the cannabinoids. Again according to regulations.

If you have ever smoked old weed you may have noticed you don't get as high and you may have smoked more to achieve the desired effect but instead you got a headache, felt nauseous or had some other undesirable effect. What you experienced was likely the effect of Delta 8 THC. This is sometimes spangly referred to as 'Green Out' or 'Greening Out'.

Why anyone would prefer the effects of Delta 8 over Delta 9 is beyond me. More over why someone would go to the added trouble and expense of synthesizing Delta 8 from CBD seems utterly bloody ridiculous.

Once upon a time some frugal individuals may have thought it a great idea to use up old weed by making butter and cooking brownies in a basement kitchen somewhere. They were wrong.

The federal regulation of cannabis in Canada exists for good reason.

For me the discussions around Delta 8 THC underscores the need for the US to adopt federal regulations so they can help ensure the health of their citizens by enacting controls and having oversight of the quality of products already being consumed by US citizens.

Hang in there mates.

cheers
