RE:RE:100,000 share buy... How's that for conviction?Lots of points here:
1. I believe in setting buy points and sell points for various levels in a stock price, based on some range of percentage of the portfolio I set out for each investment. That takes a lot of planning but lets me trade around a core portion of shares so I can make money while I wait and free up cash from profits made. I had planned a large buy of 100k shares if ever this reached $1. I never thought I'd see that but I'm sitting in the cash for events like this.
2. China is important as is the market. Experts said the market had about 5% from before the drop a few weeks ago so now it has 15% to run, if the story is still true. Markets also tend to fall in the last 2 weeks of September and rise again by October. Jim Cramer and others say the Fed taper might not matter as much as anticipated and many say that financial conditions are good enough to allow for this. If not, then the Fed will keep supporting for longer. Does anyone thing the China housing crisis will cause Canad to stop using drones? I don't. So I am willing to invest into Canada still.
3. My view is longer than 1-3 months, even 1 year. I think I'll be rewarded by a large buy, at a lower cost basis per share, in a year from now.
4. If anyone thinks the Sparrow accident is a sign of a huge rift in the technology and that this is the first crack in the DDC story foundation, I don't think so. First, technology evolves and so problems get fixed, as with Telsa and it's rare crashes. People still love their Tesla and the stock. Second, regulators would be all over this and we haven't heard of Sparrow being grounded. Finally, we have not heard of any contracts being cancelled as a result.
5. I foresee a lot of airport contracts across Canada and the use of Condor in the EIA contract likely this year. Condor in existing contracts means greater revenue for each contract already in play.
6. Analysts mostly react to stock prices like they did when we ran up to $2.50 on absolutely zero news and valuation change. They also caled for $14M revenue last year and pushed the timeline because they have no patience and seemingly no idea that these things go slowly. I don't they ever made a correct call on this stock. Even so, they called for about $1.30 so we are still oversold.
I can understand hesitation. I just don't have any right now. Not at this ridiculous low price and with a long term plan and a predetermined buy amount and level I'm just acting upon. No impulse, just following a plan.
