"ah, yes.  You didn't stipulate. (Why would I stipulate that in my initial response to you... I mentioned it secondarily because you asked... "but are you sure you do not have to pay capital gains on that...").

I do have a TFSA but it's maxed (being maxed doesn't preclude you from trading and following the "rule of thumb" that I follow... but to each his own!)

so I have cash accounts too which are subject to capital gains if they present themselves." (There are perfectly other legitimate ways to get around the capital gains but I prefer NOT to get into that here!)
