RE:RE:RE:Trudeau I actually met with 2 representatives of Trudeau's petroleum company . This was post the nationalization of PetroCanada. We met in Trudeau's favorite hang out , The Beaver Club in Montreal at the back table in the corner that was always reserved for Trudeau and his cohorts.
One now ran the company. He drove a pink Rolls Royce to get there and pulled out a pink bib before dining. The other looked liked Al Capone. During the meal I was asked to do business with them , for which my reward would be an evenings entertainment in a motel in Montreal East. The other alternative would be decidedly unpleasant. Fortunately they were full of gas as nothing else came of the meeting. But it sure was an eye-opener and made me ask myself serious question about what had happened to our country. 40 years later I am still asking myself those same questions
