RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:geez I fail to understand how CO2 can be a feedstock for other products. It is not reactive and can only be made reactive by returning it to where it came from. I.e. carbon or hydrocarbon compounds and oxygen. CO2 is a gas and so it is good for soda pop , plant growing and pig killing. It can also be used to pressurize some depleted oil reserves , but our government is not too keen on thst.
As far as spending 50$ to sequester a ton of CO2, I have a much simpler and less costly idea. Plant a tree . The average tree ways one ton which is all carbon and which will all be absorbed over its lifetime. After that you can build houses with it !!
