RE:I Did Not Know This - Ivanhoe Capital and Ivanhoe ElectricThat's correct. Mr. Robert Friedland formed the SPAC in order to allow for SES Holding Pte to take the walk across the street into a publicly trading status, it is to be listed at the NYSE:.

GM purchased its portion of a PIPE financing in order to infuse approximately 139 Million dollars of capital into the soon to be publicly traded SES, a lithium-metal battery developer and manufacturer.
SES had been spun out from MIT and is backed by top global automotive OEMs, globally recognized financial investors, top industry battery cell manufacturers, equipment manufacturers and raw materials suppliers.
Partners and investors include SK Innovation, Temasek, Applied Materials' capital venture arm, Shanghai Auto, Investment firm Vertex Ventures, Hyundai, Geely, SAIC Motor, Koch, LG Technology Ventures, Foxconn, Tiangi Lithium, KN
The combined company is valued at approximately 3.6 Billion Dollars

There is lots more to Mr. Robert Friedland than just a pretty face, lol.

I know much more of the man and his various investments and such. I'll save that for another day. Sufficed to say, when you are on side with Mr. Robert Friedland and perform the requisite due diligence, you too can become financially more stable and potentially quite wealthy.
