RE:RE:Critical minerals list 2021Quebec and Ontario are leading the way for investing in their mining assets, although are not doing enough for the juniors to finance early stage development. Look at Commerce Resources for a great asset that needs some help to get over the fence. First Cobalt was helped so that was good to see. So there will be winners and losers, or perhaps the best ones will emerge over time.
Canada has 3 significant Mg plays but 1 is contaminated with radioactive materials which means it needs a massive investment and probably processing issues and definitely concentrated tailings issues, another seems to be a lifestyle company with massive dilution and shareholders may not see much profits, and meanwhile the other is the one I hold, WHY Resources, which has struggled to raise capital at a reasonable valuation but that will change soon enough.
Patience will be rewarded here since the management have not diluted the stock and hence the value is still in tact. Once the mine permit is submitted then things should start to unfold quickly and until then we are on standby ... a few weeks ahead is my understanding from following the story ... hoped it would already be in the system but a few weeks will not matter much. The key is to be able to open the mine next year and prove to the market that this is the real deal.
Sellers today will regret their decisions but new buyers will be pretty happy this tme next year is my gambit. This is one of my largest holdings if anyone was wondering and hence I put my money where my mouth is. I am pretty diversified in other mining plays and sectors such as O&G and techs and pharma but I put a lot more into this one than I normally would. My reasons will make sense in the coming months and years but I get that there are sceptics. Hey if it was more obvious the SP would be above $2/sh. GLTA.
